After a five-month break and a full spa treatment for the entire Burj Lake, the famous Dubai Fountain will dance to music again. The official reopening is set for 1 October, and this time it’s certain - no Instagram rumours.
The entire lake was drained, the floor was replaced after the old one developed cracks, the tiles were refreshed, new insulation was added and a fresh coat of paint was applied. In short, the fountains have had a full makeover, so they can keep shining for years to come without technical issues.
And that’s only the beginning. In the second phase, planned for 2026, new technology, more impressive choreography and an enhanced combination of light and sound will be introduced. So it will be even higher, louder and more spectacular.
